Unlimited edits do include edits to content on any page, changing banners, headers, or footers, changing plugin settings, CSS adjustments, blog content or context edits, adding a new landing page, formatting landing pages, changing images or text, adding coupon codes or updating shopping carts. Unlimited truly does mean unlimited too! 

Unlimited edits do not include custom development (PHP, plugins, themes, etc), updating custom code, graphic design, PSD to WordPress, creation of content or building out a new website or subdomain.

EDIT EXAMPLE 1

  • Included: You want us to upload blog content that you created with attached images that have been sent and format for WordPress with instructions
  • Not included: You want us to create a blog post, find images and upload to WordPress with no instruction for formatting

EDIT EXAMPLE 2

  • Included: You want us to add a new product to your WooCommerce store (for which you've provided all needed content).
  • Not included: You want us to create a custom checkout process for your WooCommerce store.

If you’re invited to join my website care plan, that means you’ve already got a solid brand design online. But I understand you might need some additional design services. Items such as social graphics, logo tweaks, PDF designs, email headers, etc., are considered outside of scope but will be reviewed and accepted on a case-by-case basis based on my availability.

Response times are typically between 2-6 hours. Resolution time, depending on the ticket is typically between 24-48 hours.

Short answer? It depends. Here's how the process works:

  • When you email a support ticket in, you will receive an automated response right away, if it is submitted correctly.
  • Within 2-6 hours you will receive a response email that we have opened the ticket, we are looking at the complexity of it and will let you know when it has been resolved.
  • Within 24-48 hours you will receive a resolution email with the changes made on that ticket.

If the ticket is complex and we need more time, we will let you know if it is outside of that 48-hour window. Communication is key here with response and resolution times, we've got your back!

Immediately after signing up for your plan, you'll receive a confirmation email. That will begin the onboarding process. I'll reach out to gather the required account information and provide you with my dedicated support email address for you to submit your requests.

Our team is distributed, meaning we work from around the globe! This gives us the ability to provide 24/7 service. If your website crashes at 3am on a Sunday morning, someone on our team will be notified within 1 minute, the issue will be addressed and your site will be back up immediately.

My pricing structure for my support plans is set up to keep things lean with a global team. It just makes more sense to handle all our support through email. With that said, customer service is a huge priority of ours and you'll find our email support fast, effective and friendly!

We focus on technical support for your WordPress website - we aren't SEO experts. That being said, we often work alongside SEO teams to help implement technical tasks relating to your SEO. Some typical tasks might include:

  • Adding metadata
  • Updating title tags and page titles

First and foremost, our goal with emergency support is to be proactive instead of reactive. This means optimizing your website's performance and security so that WordPress emergencies never happen in the first place.

But if something does go wrong, we take emergencies very seriously. We focus on quick communication, explaining the crisis and how we are going to fix it, even if it's as simple as an auto-update emergency.
WordPress automates some of its core updates, especially the more critical ones. The rest, however, we perform on your website every week.

Without some handholding and close monitoring of your WordPress site, your visitors may be left befuddled when they unexpectedly encounter a misaligned page or broken plugin functionality. That may lead to an emergency!

Granted, you have backups to rescue you if such a thing should occur. But your best bet is to leave emergency services to us.

We also partner with premium plugins WP Rocket and WP Smush Pro to give you free access to both plugins under your care plan. This brings premium caching and image compression to your websites.

We only provide speed optimization services for people who want to make their website faster and keep it that way over the long term.

One-time speed optimization may help your website load faster now, but as your site continues to change over the following weeks and months, the site will slow down again unless someone is continually optimizing the site for speed.

We partner with folks to manage their website speed not just for today and tomorrow, but for the foreseeable future. 

While we don't recommend purchasing one-time speed optimization, if you do decide to go with this option, we'd recommend downloading our speed optimization eBook and working with someone (maybe a freelancer) to do everything we do to speed up websites.

Care plans do not include hosting. When you sign up to work with us, we’ll ask for login details to your hosting provider to make sure:

  • we can help in emergency situations in the rare case your website goes down
  • we always have multiple ways to access your website (through hosting, FTP, WordPress dashboard)

That being said, our team can provide hosting-related support if you ask for it! That includes things like:

  • opening a support ticket with the support team on your behalf
  • making some hosting optimizations to help with speed optimization
  • implementing hosting-side WordPress applications (CDN, caching, etc)
  • working directly with the hosting company to address an issue you may not understand

We start providing services from day 1, so for that reason, our monthly care plans are non-refundable. However, we also understand needs evolve and change. So the monthly care plans are flexible and can be canceled with no questions asked. They are monthly rolling subscriptions.
